It can be served with plain roti, paratha, naan, and pulao or ghee rice. Paneer pakora is a popular starter item that is offered in many restaurants. Here, small paneer cubes are dipped in a batter and deep-fried in oil, till turn crispy and golden brown. It is served with different chutneys or sauces for a spicier taste. Vegetable paneer fry is known as one of the simplest of paneer recipes. Several vegetables, like capsicum, onions, green peas, and beans are stir-fried with small pieces of paneer. It is quite popular as a side dish with simple rotis that are packed in lunch boxes for school children and office goers.
